Located in Bologna’s medieval downtown area, IL CONVENTO DEI FIORI DI SETA (The Silk Flowers Nunnery) has been realized following the meticulous restoration of the lit-tle church of the nunnery, built in the 15th century and enlarged throughout the 17th century.
Historical records report that in the nunnery gardens the nuns grew silk-worms to spin silk and create flower decorations.
It is on the basis of this charming anecdote that IL CONVENTO DEI FIORI DI SETA takes its name.

The impressive lobby is located at the church entrance, with original marble and or-namentation.
A large & original breakfast including some savoury italian dishes is offered in the al-tar area or at the charming outdoor terrace (when weather permits)
The wine bar is situated in the sacristy and extends through two small lounges, one of which overlooks the church main fresco, featuring the Crucifix.

The four loft-style guest rooms on the ground floor, featuring the nunnery’s original stone and brick walls build throughout 1400, are located in the apse.
The six guest rooms on the first floor, all different from one another, are characterized by a romantic and modern style, with contemporary-chic furnishing.

Guests comfort, personal attention and relaxation is the hotel leading philosophy. The SPA offers Jacuzzi, steam bath and Scottish shower and can be used at the guests’ own privacy
