The building and entrance

Venice apartment for 4 people, situated by a canal in the ancient area “San Polo”.


The apartment is situated in a central part of old Venice and you can easily walk to most if not all of the famous sites: the Rialto bridge is very close.

A trip down the canals with a Vaporetto bus is always worth the experience and every photo you take is a winner.



The apartment is in what was once the dependance of the Palazzo Marcello Grimaldi. It is reached by crossing a stone bridge to the “Campiello delle Erbe” pedestrian square.


The apartment is very peaceful whilst shops are a minute or two away at Campo San Polo square which even features in a Canaletto painting or two.

The Canal Grande is very near. St. Mark's square is reached by crossing the Rialto bridge on foot.

Access to the apartment is by way of a common entrance hall on the ground level, followed by a private entrance hall, cloak room, stairs to the first floor. On the first floor there is a bathroom, double bedroom, kitchen and a large sitting room with double sofa bed. The views from the bedrooms are onto Canale delle Erbe and the boats moored along it.


The property also has an entrance from the canal for those river taxis should you wish to take one.



The original features such as wooden beams and original brick-work make you feel you're truly living Venice.
