Description of Farm House:

The Farm House Marzalossa was built in the XVII th century and is one of the historical houses of Apulia. For over two centuries it belongs to the Guarini family and it is directly managed by them. This Farm House it is refurnished with great care, is a unique place to relax and to gain new strength surrounded by ancient olive trees and old stone walls in a pure nature. This homestead is a clear example of excellent rural architecture that is so common in this land. At the disposal of the guests there are: the swimming pool built in ancient lemon grove, the bicycles and boat of excursion on request. The kitchen is dedicated exclusively for the guests of the farm house, propose the dishes of typical gastronomy of our region. organic products of the farm house are: olive oil extravergine, wine, vegetables,jam, tomatoes in oil, liqueur of various essence and detoxicant infusion of miss Lucy. Mrs Maria Teresa Guarini personally and daily take care of the menu and organize cookery course on request.

Weddings package



I prefer to organize Weddings from January to the end of April, and from the 15th of September to the 15th of November. The package includes (for about 24 people):

1) Stay in Masseria in B&B for minimum 3 nights

2) Wedding reception (for maximum 50 people), that includes cocktail, dinner, drinks and wedding cake

3) Extra: hairdresser, beauty specialist, car and driver, flowers, music, photographer

4) The legal papers will be cleared of by Advocate Guarini solicitor's office, placed in Fasano

5) The Catholic Wedding will take place in one of the Churches of Fasano (it is possible to choose among different Churches, but the choice will be subjected to the availability), giving at least six months notice.

The Civil Wedding will take place in Fasano Town Hall, with at least two months notice.

Prices:

1) The price of stay will depend on the season and the typology of room.

2) Wedding reception € 120,00 per person

3) Extra: - hairdresser + beauty specialist € 1000,00

- limousine + driver € 200,00 (it will include only the transfer from the Masseria to the Church/Town Hall and back for the married couple)

There is a special offer for the married couple that include one night free in suite + a bottle of Italian champagne.

On this package your commissions will be only on the guests stay in my farm and not on other services (included the wedding reception).

In the Farmhouse there are 8 double rooms superior and 4 suites that too having a rustic refinement in each and everything , endowed with every comforts : bath, frigobar, TV and air conditioning.

Each room and suite is furnished in different way , with proper style , but all of them comfortable and in perfect harmony with the structure .

In the territory, around the Farm-house, there are historical cities: Fasano; Ostuni, white town; Locorotondo, old village; Martina Franca, baroque town; Castellana grottoes; Alberobello ”trulli” town.

The long coast of Fasano there are the archaeological sites of Egnathia, old roman city that was the port for the Greece.

There are many castles of FedericoII that have been built during his reign.

In this land, each season has its own charm and offer to tourists the opportunity to visit in nearby cities: feasts, festival of classical music, cultural and gastronomic.

In autumn begins the harvest and all the hovels are open for the production of wine that here is very good because the grapes for the favourable climate and the hot summer sun are enrich of sugar and undergo a particular maturity. Let us remember in particular that among the red wine of “Salento” and of “Tarantino” there are the famous “Primitivo” and “Negroamaro”; and among the white wine the “Verdeca” of “Valle d’Itria”.

Always in autumn the farmers begin the preparation of the ancient trees for the successive harvest of olives of different qualities .

After the farmers bring the olives to the oil mills for squashing from which they will have the “olio di olive extravergine” that have the golden colour.
