The villa is in the exclusive private residence of ‘La Collinetta’ at ‘Capo Boi’. It is situated at 5 minutes’ drive from Villasimius, on the southern coast of Sardinia. Villasimius is a seaside resort town, offering many leisure activities. A thriving marina provides boat hire facilities and boat outings to small islands off the coast. It has numerous facilities; a PADI 5 stars diving school, a sailing school, banks, a 24 hour medical centre, good shopping and restaurants. Villasimius is about 50 minutes’ drive east of Cagliari, the largest city on the island. Cagliari is served by an international airport. Easy-Jet flies directly from Luton to Cagliari daily (twice on Saturdays), British Airways directly from Gatwick. BMI flies directly from Manchester and Heathrow.

Ryanair flies from Stansted to Alghero (with a coach connection to Cagliari). There are frequent scheduled flights, run by Alitalia and Meridiana, to major Italian cities and several charter flights from Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester during the peak periods. Cagliari is connected by ferry to Civitavecchia (Rome) and Genoa.

Accommodation

The house, built in a traditional Mediterranean style, is about 20 metres from the beach. Access to the beach is reserved for residents of ‘La Collinetta’ and guests of the nearby hotel. The beach is sandy and sheltered, with shallow waters, ideal for children. During the peak season the beach is cleaned every morning by the resident caretaker. A sun umbrella and beach chairs are provided with the rental. In the residence there is no traffic except for cars accessing the houses nearby or the beach.

Living room: Large extended open plan living room, furnished with antique Sardinian furniture. This opens out onto a large veranda.

There are 5 bedrooms arranged on two wings of the house. The villa sleeps a maximum of 10 people. All the bathrooms are newly refurbished and have showers.

- 1 bedroom (with a bunk-bed and single bed) with en-suite bathroom (ideal for children)

- 1 bedroom with a single bed

- 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (which can be made into a double bed); these last 2 rooms share a large bathroom

- Air conditioning / central heating in all the bedrooms, charged extra

- Two cots and safety gates are available if requested, free of charge

3 May- 31 May : 1500 euro
31 May- 5 July :: 1950 euro

- All charges (electricity, gas and water) are included in the rental.

- Linen and towels are included in the rental price (except for beach towels).

- Air conditioning / heating are extra and will be charged at 150 Euro per week (optional).

- The villa will be ready after 4 pm although an earlier check-in time could be arranged if requested. On the date of departure please leave by 10 am to allow the house to be made ready for any other arrival.

- In a two week rental period, a villa cleaning will be included in the price. We ask you to ensure that at departure the house is left as clean as you found it.

- A security deposit of 500 euros will be required for any loss, breakages or damages caused. The sum will be left with the key holder who will refund you directly at the time of departure.

- Insurance cover should be purchased independently because I cannot be held responsible for any accidents incurred during your stay.
