Casa Valeria, recently featured on HGTV's House Hounter, International is a luxury 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms apartment on the 3rd and top floor of a restored 18th century building located in the historical centre of Lucca just next to the ancient walls. There are wonderful view from every room including those of the ancient Walls, San Martino Cathedral, rooftops and local gardens.

The entire apartment was tastefully refurbished in the spring 2006 to include all the modern comfort you may need during the stay. The result is a bright and airy apartment with high ceilings, marble floors and elegantly painted walls. The furniture has been carefully chosen to create a pleasant and comfortable setting. The owner, a kind lady from the USA, lives in the apartment a couple of months a year.
It measure more than 100 square metres in size and is composed of:

- a roomy living room with two large windows overlooking the Walls and air co unit, satellite Tv , dvd player.
- a large full-equipped kitchen with dining area, large refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave and a wonderful view of the promenade running on the top of the ancient Walls.

- a roughly 50 square metres terrace covering the entire rooftop of the building. The terrace has been equipped with garden furniture, like table, chairs and sunlounger, flowers and plants.

Casa Valeria is centrally located to everything. Within a short walking distance of the apartment you have all the main attractions of Lucca plus grocery stores, restaurants, shops, cafes, banks, pharmacies and famous churches. The train station is just on the other side of the walls so that you can walk there in a few minutes time. Car parking is just inside or outside the walls so that it will not be a problem… even though you absolutely don’t need a car to visit Lucca…
The medieval walled city of Lucca is the perfect base for exploring Tuscany and Liguria. Within a short driving or train distance of the city you can easily visit Florence, Pisa, 5 Terre, Siena and Garfagnana and more…
IMPORTANT TO KNOW: there are wide and low 58 steps, divided in 6/7 sets, from the street to apartment. There are other 15 steps from the third floor to access the terrace which is located above just the apartment.
