Well who could believe that is is a whole year since Karen found those 6 little puppies in a sack at the side of the road. To celebrate their first year, we decided to have a birthday party yesterday at Lago di Ruffino which was great fun. Not sure who enjoyed it more the puppies or the adults but everyone was well behaved - well most of the time.
We had a lovely picnic followed by fun and games - lots of chasing round and playing in the garden. Sounds like everyone slept really well last night too - I know Jessie did!
Thanks so much Karen for providing us with such beautiful pets - our lives will certainly never be the same again and we look forward to the next year of fun.

Puppies!, huge monsters, I
Puppies!, huge monsters, I had to hide under the picnic tables as they galloped around, and they wouldnt let me bring my new kitten either!. But seriously, fantastic to see them all grown up, I remember them when they were a few days old, all concerned have done a brilliant job in raising them .

Alfie and Harry
We adored Alfie when we met him for the first time since collecting his brother Harry from Karen's last October. He played with Harry 'the new boy' and they really seemed to become great friends. We were so looking forward to seeing much more of him and cried buckets when we heard the terrible news. Crying again now as I think of him. I can only imagine how bad you and your family feel.
