Teramo or more rarely Interamnium is a city in the central Italy. It is located in the Province of Teramo in the Abruzzo Region. The town is situated near the confluence of the Vezzola and Tordino Rivers. Due to its beauty and wonderment the town of Teramo is often referred to as “La Cenerentola d’Abruzzo” (The Cinderella of Abruzzo).

I certainly concur with Teramo being the Cinderella of Abruzzo. Lots of restoration work being done to some of the old parts of the town, which is great.
