We are soon to be moving to our villa in Puglia and have just paid our first ENEL bill at the local Post Office when we collected the keys last week. However, I have just received a further letter from ENEL on our return to the UK requesting the same payment as it obviously hasn't been received yet ! As we are still 'newbies', has anyone had anything similar as I'm sure with the usual italian way of doing things our payment is still in the system somewhere. I would also be grateful if anyone has an email address for ENEL as I could then email a copy of our payment slip to them.......or am I being too efficient? I've looked on their website but with my very limited Italian it's a bit of a mine field. Thanks

and while you're at it
take the original bill to the bank somewhere on the back should be all the details for filling in the direct debit request the bank will do it on the spot ,that way you won't have to bother with the post office again..
