Summer camps

Are there children's camps in Italy like the US?

We will be there for a month in August with a 5 and 6 year old. I would like them in a morning camp - like in US i.e. soccer, ballet, art, etc.. - something along the YMCA camps here.  This will help with their Italian and socialize with Italian children.

Also, are there swimming areas open to public?

Summer camps

I don't think they have summer camps in Italy. But Italians love children, I am sure you will be able to find playmates for them.

campi estivi

Hi

typed "campi estivi" on google and found this list, some listings are in English:

http://www.comune.torino.it/infogio/vacanze/vacanzeatema/campi.htm

This is a summer camp:

the website is in Italian, if you need any help with the language, don't hesitate to ask!

Hope this helps!

Keep us posted about your plans!
