Train travel from Rome to Venice

Crawford Carroll

My wife and I will arrive in Rome and must immediately travel by train to Venice. Suggestions on the best way to do so would be most appreciated.

Try this ....

There are several direct trains that go each day from Rome to Venice - depending on what time you want to leave.

The direct train takes about 4hrs 16mins

I suggest you use   http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en?newrequest=yes&protocol=http: to plan the trip

Cate,

Thank you for the comment. This will be our second visit to Venice. Last time for me was by train from Paris.

We are staying in Italy for three weeks, in Venice, Seina and Rome. Last visit to Italy was before hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. The hurricane has delayed our return to a most beautiful and interesting country.

Thanks again.

Crawford
