Thank you for the comment. This will be our second visit to Venice. Last time for me was by train from Paris.
We are staying in Italy for three weeks, in Venice, Seina and Rome. Last visit to Italy was before hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. The hurricane has delayed our return to a most beautiful and interesting country.

There are several direct trains that go each day from Rome to Venice - depending on what time you want to leave.
The direct train takes about 4hrs 16mins
