views of teramo,the mountains,the fauna and the mushrooms
i posted this on the old forums and felt it worth another mention... with so many new memebrs on this site that might well be interested... in taking a look at why some of us have chosen Teramo and Abruzzo as a place to live...
three sites the first two are published by a father and son...who happen to own the paint shop where i get all our paint supplies plus heaps of local info
the next one relates to these two but is the CAI site for teramo... Alpine Club Italy... and my link to their site takes you to more mountain views.... but both father and son above work closely with this organisation and any serious walkers climbers planning a trip to any hill/mountain area of Italy would do well to check out their sites for the areas you are heading to... adviseries and routes...they are the experts and more than that they know local conditions well and are a very friendly club...
all the sites show the abundance of beautiful and natural areas around where we live...

The ADR photos are truly exceptional. They are also very nice folks to know. I put together a small site for the abandoned village of Frunti, (where my great grandmother lived) near Valle San Giovanni, and Alessandro most kindly gave me permssion to use several of his beautiful photos. A wonderful Abruzzo resource.
