In Spring 2006 we stayed 2 nights at TORCOLO - Vicola Listone 3, 37121 Verona, IT Phone: 045 800 7512 Fax 045 8004058. A small, (19 rooms) centrally located hotel, walking distance to everything. Inexpensive (I believe we paid EU110 per night. It was very clean, nothing fancy, but for the amount of time we spent in the room (sleeping) it was a find. They offer a variety of room sizes all with private bath, phone, TV, A/C, and hairdrier. Very friendly, owned and operated by two lovely women - SIlvia and Diana were most accomodating. Breakfast was included. We found the hotel from a travel book purchased in 2000, "Charming Small Hotel Guide of Italy". The properties are listed by region, all given price catagories. We've visited at least 35 over the years and never had an unpleasant stay. (Many have been repeat visits). Have a great trip!
