New building - cost per sq metre
Last October we were quoted Euros 2200 per sq metre lordo (including walls) but just now have been told this has gone up to Euros 2500 because of new building regulations/laws which came into operation in February this year re anti-seismic requirements. Does anyone know anything about this please?
Generally the view on the forum seems to be that non-new prices are going down. In the specific village we are interested in. which is situated on the shores of a volcanic lake, it appears that prices are going up, (in addition to the above), because of the shortage of building land/comune rules about new building within a certain distance of the lake.
I hope some of you experts on the forum can throw some light on the new laws.
