I agree with MyAbruzzoHome that €1,500 is a median figure - possibly more if you need piles. By agreeing to a lordo' figure you risk laying yourself open to gouging. An alternative is to ask for a Compiuto Metrico; an itemised list of work, based on quantities and the rates issued by the provincial authority for each type of work.
