Thanks jackie - of course, I guess most who may stand to benefit would consider it a good idea at least in principle, that's human nature. I'm hoping someone may have an inside track on whether the hire companies may already have such deals and what the volume commitment would have to be in order for it to be of interest to them. For example, Hertz give RA customers pretty decent discounts when booking a car at the same time as a flight but that's hundereds of thousands of people and they're offering maybe a 10% discount off the hertz rack rate (as well as a kickback to RA presumably) ... so it wouldn't be short term volume itself that would interest the big players, more long term commitment and a better risk profile. I honestly have no idea whether this is a complete non starter at this stage, but if you dont ask ...
