Default Builders to quote for Renovation near Pontremoli

We are in the process of buying a place near Pontremoli, that needs quite a lot of work doing, heating, electrics, quite a lot of plastering etc, can anybody recommend and reliable builders that work in this part of Tuscany

I live in Aulla and my boyfriend is a builder (we met while he was doing work on my folks house here - whole other story ;) ). You may find that if you've got a lot of work to do you might have to get a geometra first to make up the quote and then the builder quotes from that (if that makes sense?). Anyhow I'll send you a private mail with some more details.

Default Thanks for that !

We have had a geometra look at the place and we are awaiting his report. I think that he as had some builders look at the place, and as given us a estimation of what he thinks things will cost, but the quote was not itemized, so we are waiting for something in more detail. Can you please send me the information, and we can hopefully go from there.

Thanks again !

Phil

Nicola & Phil

Are there many properties in your area for sale - did you use local agents ?

Default Builders

Hi,
just in the process of trying the same thing just through the tunnel from Pontremoli, in Borgotaro, and I've found it pretty difficult to pin people down to providing quotes and have now decided to go the DIY route but I'll pass on any contacts I can find.
