Default Alice Incluso

Has anyone got this? We want a second phone line + ADSL and looking on the 187 website last night saw this on special offer but it comes with Alice TV too. What's that and is it worth it? Any UK channels?

Why do you want a second phone line?

IIRC the alice all in deal you get a VOIP line. So you could even get rid of your current line.

Hi Nick
Surely ( and yes I will stop calling you that ) you need at least 1 line for the adsl, on then the voip piggy backs off that ?

You need the wire but you don't need the phone service. That's how Fastweb for example can claim you don't pay the telecom fee for their service.

Wouldn't there be a question of bandwidth? If you're out in the sticks with 1 or 2 megs max, is the TV really going to work??

No. I think the TV service is only for the ADSL2 service at 20 meg.
