Wink Ascoli Chocolate

Tomorrow starts "Ascoli Chocolate" here in the centri storico of Ascoli Piceno. Friday will be various events dealing with the story of chocolate and the health benefits of chocolate.

Saturday there will be tastings at various bars, pasticcerie and ristorante for a small fee with theme based tastings.

This continues on Sunday and Sunday night is Notte Fondente that is expected to go all night and new tastings again on Monday, the final day.

So if you love all things chocolate...and who doesn't...then Ascoli Piceno may be the place for you this weekend. You can pick up a list of events at the pro loco in Piazza Arringo.

Oh darn, the perfect reason to (finally!) visit Ascoli, but we leave for the states this weekend! Enjoy some chocolate for me!

rosa - If you are timing a trip for chocolate you really should consider the festa in Perugia.
