Default Good Restaurants In Senigallia

Given the touristic nature of Senigallia, it does have 2 excellent restaurants.
Neither of them are cheap but when hubbie makes the mistake of asking me "dove vuoi andare a mangiare" ? and then says" per me va bene tutto"!!!!
my answer is usually either La Madonnina del Pescatore or Da Uliassi.
La Madonnina is just outside Senigallia and not in a particularly nice setting, however the restaurant is very minimalist in its decor and has a nice atmosphere and excellent service. The presentation of the food is a delight to the eye.
The chef Moreno Cedroni is very well known in Italy and follows many of Ferran Adrias trends.
His Sushi e susci is an Italian interpretation of my favourite food and a bit different so when you are looking for a change to the same old tagliatelle head on down to La Madonnina or their Clandestino Sushi bar on the beach at Portonovo.
The other fine dining restaurant in Senigallia is Da Uliassi, a fantastic location over looking the sea and of a very high standard , more of a traditional approach than that of Cedroni but nonetheless very good.
Both great for a special celebration.
I wonder why hubbie has stopped leaving the choice of restaurants to me!!!

I would recommend anyone to check the cost before going here.We unfortunately didnt and just went on a recommendation we had been given.Big mistake.HUGE bill for a very beautifully presented but not outstanding meal.
