This Sunday is the open winery day for those in the Ascoli Piceno Province. Most wineries are closed on Sundays but will be open for this special event. A chance to try some Rosso Piceno, Pecorino or Falerio.

Most of the cantina we have been to are closer to the coast around Offida and Ripatransone. If Brendon from the Roman Wine Company is lurking on the forum he might have some recommendations.

On a similar note i notice that the local elementary and middle schools are having a day out at our local cantina!!! - villa forano
No one took me to a brewery when i was 7 years old!!
