Default Curry lovers?

Does anyone know where you can buy curry sauces in the Ascoli-Piceno area?? (Husband desperate for a curry!)

Don't know about Ascoli, but there's a grocery shop run by a lovely Asian lady half-way down Via Priori, in the centre of Perugia, that does all the right stuff.

Thanks anyway.

Hi Annmarie NZ

You didn`t mention what kind of curry but I do know that you can buy curry sauces, Indian spices, and all sorts of Indian goodies at Indian Food, Indian Spices, Indian Cooking Ingredients from Natco Online. who deliver to Italy. Not sure what the cost of postage is, but it might be worth it if you did a `big shop` - if Hubby likes Indian curries that is!

We managed to find a Pakistani food shop in Corridonia, close to Piederipa, off the superstrada to Macerata. Bismati rice, tandoori paste and curry spices etc. Seems like Corridonia is a Pakistani enclave, so that may be worth trying.

Thanks Geotherm,
I looked online at the site that LizzyF suggested, but a tad expensive. We're off to the UK soon for 3 days, and curry sauces & teabags are at the top of the list. Guess we'll have to pay the extra & check in our bags, tho'!
Corridonia isn't too far from us, so will drive down and take a look when we get back. Thanks again everyone!

We have seen curry in the supermercati around this area, I don't recall the exact stores as not something we regularly buy but I do recall seeing it. I will pay attention next time and let you know where I see this.

Geo, Basmati rice can be found in Maxi Sidis in Piano di Falerone, but I think you also have one in Amandola, so could try there.

Do you have an Esselunga supermarket nearby? At least in Tuscany they do stock curry sauce.
