A very good long lunch is to be had at 'Il Rustico' near Lapedona, for those interested. 4 courses, wines, water & caffe' with mistra' = 18 euros per person.
No printed menus, thank God! I can't be bothered with them.
I just expect good food all the time now.
Lovely decor with plenty of parking & outdoor seating for Summer.

Well, not sure;the site doesn't actually work properly, as I'm sure you've gathered.
We just rolled up at lunchtime, no problems.
The older Signor who was MD it is just gorgeous, very friendly, and very proud of the place which I gather his son runs. We met him too as we left, very dapper. Plenty of tables, a spotless bathroom, but it may be busy on Sunday as they all seem to be. Beautiful settings, with cool beaten aluminium platters. Well worth it, next time you're over!

Thanks for the Le Rustico recommendation, we will look it up when we're there at Easter. Do you live in the area? We've just bought in Lapedona, so are interested in any other recommendations around that way.
