Default Recommendation in Porto San Giorgio

We had a fantastic meal in Porto San Giorgio on Good Friday. We had been to teh notary to do the final signing & Sr Mancini who we bought our to be rennovated house from asked us (with our two children plus and our lawyer and the lawyer's translator ) to have lunch with him. We had a fantastic lunch at Campanelli in Porto San Giorgio - on a side streer (via G Properzi). Only serves fish and I have no idea of the price as Delio paid so it could be expensive (as he had just received the cheque for the house sale it was his treat!). We'll go back in teh summer & I'll report back on the price!

The antipasti in particular were great - all really fresh. They were also really good about food for the children (one of whom doesn't eat fish so she had pasta pomodoro, and the other wanted pasta with tuna which he said was really nice). Apparently it's been going since 1940 (which my husband thought was an interesting year to open a restaurant).

I have just come back from this restaurant and thoroughly recommend it. E40 for 2. Huge TV on the wall but since it was full of local Italians it didn't intrude because you couldn't hear it!

I have been there a few times and it is lovely food. If you phone in advance they will also prepare a vegetarian option.

It is very popular with the locals in Petritoli so must be good value for money!!
