Default Villa Cicchi

A fantastic recommendation for a great agriturismo and restaurant is Villa Cicchi which is off La Salaria just outside Ascoli Piceno (Abbazia Di Rosara). Most of their produce is home grown and organic and is run by a very elegant lady, her son and granddaughters. We had a fabulous lunch there on Easter Monday for 30 euros per person (Bank holiday price of course). I brought home a copy of the menu but I can't find it. Will post at a later date. If anyone is within easy reach, this place is a local gem.
I found it when I read, Eating up Italy, voyages on a Vespa, by Matthew Fort (a great read if anyone is interested) who stayed there and enjoyed the food. If It's good enough for Matthew Fort, that's good enough for me. They also have Classical music evenings and run painting courses at various times of the year. Unfortunately, although they have a website, many of the pages are under construction.
agriturismo Villa Cicchi, accoglienza ricca di charme e bellezza nella splendida cornice della campagna marchigiana
