Barbecue Time is Coming

If anyone likes barbecued chicken wings then its good to find the local processing plant. We have used the one on the road from Sarnarno to Gualdo and the cost there as of today is Euro 1.50 per kilo. You do have to seperate the wings from the front half as they are just cut across, so not for the squemish. 6Kg is approximately 40 wings and for 9 euros not so bad. They also do Guinea Fowl, chicken & turkey breast at good prices.

They come with the neck etc attached!!!!!
Chop the head off and then cut from under the wing, across the backbone in a straight line and you will see what I mean.

Sorry LizzyF, head is already chopped off when you buy them!!!

Our local poultry butcher will cut them into the pieces we need, just tell him where to swing the cleaver.
