Default Restaurant Recommendation needed

Hi All
Does anyone know of a good place to eat around Montemonaco or Montefortina or anywhere picturesque around Amandola?

Thanks
Deborah

For very high quality food, beautifully presented and served with white gloves and silver water jugs try Il Tiglio in Isola San Biagio (nr Montemonaco). Great winelist and wonderful olive oil list although you would walk past it without a second glance.

For a wonderful rustic meal with fabulous views and an atmospheric restaurant go to Agriturismo La Cittadella in Montemonaco. It was also voted the best mountain retreat in Europe by Jane Dunford of the Guardian . There is a link to the review from our website.

Unfortunately, Amandola and Montefortino are very light on restaurants but there are plenty of agriturismi nearby or go to Hotel Paradiso in the top piazza in Amandola where you can sit outside in the beautiful gardens with lovely views although the food varies from very good to average (imho). For a pizza go to La Rimessa which does great pizzas in a rustic pub-style atmosphere.

Hi D&R,

did you choose a restaurant in the end? If so, which one was it and what did you think?
