Default Furniture - near Toano, RE

We have a house near Toano and need some furniture for it (items such as bedside tables, sofas, comfy chairs, side tables, perhaps rugs, general bits and bobs to fill it up a bit and make it more homely). We do not want the whole house to be full of Ikea stuff (we've got quite a lot already!). Does anyone know this area and know of a flea market, second hand 'junk' shop or similar? Or is anyone who lives near us looking to get rid of any furniture?

I did a search for you and I found a sort of second hand - vintage market at Carpineti called "Dall'avanzo allo zavaglio", which is held on the last Sunday of the month (the next is on the 31st August) as from 8 am at the Piazzetta Matilde di Canossa and another address. Have a look:

I do hope you will find the "comfy chair".....

Thanks, that looks fun - but unfortunately we don't arrive till 1st Sept so that one's out for this visit! If anyone knows of any others, I'd be grateful.

You have several "mercatini usato" in your area:

Good luck!
