Hiya, I might be wrong but I look at the shops in Tuscanny and often see the same piece just repainted. I'm thinking chests of drawers, bedside tables etc. I just wonder if anyone had managed to find any Pine/Oak wholesalers that might just sell to the public?

I found raw pine furniture at some of the larger hardware stores, but they were quite expensive. Instead I have ordered older, used pieces from ebay, these were delivered to my door and are much more attractive. I've also found the 2nd hand store chain 'mercatino' to be a great source for furniture, they seem to have branches all over italy and often deliver for no extra cost. Look them up on the internet.
