Default Buying Furniture in Pescara Area

Can anyone give me advice on where to buy reasonably priced furniture in the Pescara area. We have bought a large house nr. Vestea in the mountains and need to furnish it. So would be grateful if anyone could help with suggestions of where to buy.

Thanks

Eileen.

Depends on how much you want to spend and what style, there is an Ikea in Rome which is only a couple of hours away.I've heard that Ikea are opening in Pescara but I don't know when.

It depends what you want. For good furniture the place to go is Mosciano St Angelo which is several junctions north of Pescara on the A14. It's full of furniture stores. If you want something closer to Pescara then there is Mercatone Uno at Pineto, I hate (most of) the furniture there, sub MFI quality and they seem to exist by selling to people who buy on credit. OTOH their bed bases and mattresses are good value and we also bought chandeliers and some heavy bevel-edge mirrors from them at reasonable prices.

As someone has said, there's always Ikea in Rome, they're only 90 minutes or so away and it's a great drive.
