Moving furniture to Umbria this month

We have bought some furntiure at auction in England as well as some new buy-at-half-price-now-pay-later deals (we have found old furniture really epxensive in Italy and new affrodable furntiure - other than IKEA - pretty expensive and not especially nice) and need to ship it all over to our house near Ovieto, Umbria ideally during the week beginning May 26 - bit there is some flexibility on this. It will take up larger space than a box van, so I will be trawling the various companies very helpfully recommended on previous postings, but I'm just wondering if there is anyone else out there who needs to get stuff across at a similar time that we might be able to share transport and split costs with? We are near Lewes, East Sussex. Also, if anyone has done this recently, then any new/additonal leads will be gratefully received!
