Hi I have an apartment full of art deco furniture in San Polo, Venice which needs a good home as I will be moving soon and can't take it with me - anyone interested?

yes if you want I can email pics to you. Basically it comprises: 2 sofas (2&3 seaters), 4 armchairs, three occassional tables, dining room suite + 8 chairs, 2 glass cabinets, mirrored sideboard, 2 cupboards, double wardrobe, 2 double beds, dressing table and 2 bedside cabinets. All in good condition.

Default Certainly a house full!

Thanks for the information. I see what you mean! Unfortunately we wouldn't need most of the large furniture but perhaps some of the smaller. I'll come back with further thoughts after discussion. Many thanks

Hi, thank you for your message. I wanted to send you some photos but I cannot work out how I do this on the site - any ideas how to upload pics?

Go to the reply to (or new) message window, and make sure you have a picture of a paperclip in the row of icons at the top of the message pane (if you haven't, select the 'go advanced' button below the message pane.

Click on the paperclip icon, and a new window opens where you can (probably easiest) browse your computer for the photo you want to upload, and 'open' the fle in the browsing window. When the file name of the photo is visible, press the upload button to the right of the file name. Notice that there are limits (quite small) to the size of the attachments, and I don't think this site automatically resizes them for you, so you'll have to reduce them yourself on your computer. When the photo has successfully uploaded the name will appear as an 'available attachment, or more than one. (I think the limit is three, so you maybe have to do more than one message.)

Go back to the message window and click on the paperclip again, and the picture wll be pasted into the message where the cursor is. The only tricky bit is resizing the image.

Hi, we would also be interested, if you can send some pictures...perhaps to private email address if easier? Let me know.
Cheers

Thanks everyone who responded to my art deco furniture announcement. I appreciate your messages - especially the ones about how to upload pics! I have now put the pics in Ellym's Album which I presume is easy enough for anyone to look at. Hope it works! If anyone seriously interested in a particular piece please let me know. Any reasonable offer accepted. However the furniture would have to be collected and paid for on collection.
