as questions often come up here regarding different activities...finding a gardener or builder... to places to stay, this site might prove useful...it does have an English language switch... but you seem to loose many of the options...so for wider info its best i would say to try the italian search if you cannot manage to find anything in English...which seems to be mainly accommodation based

anyway here's the site... hopefully it will prove a good research tool... one thing that i should say about Italian web sites,directories in general is that when you apply to go on them...whoever you are you have to fill in such details as your registration number with the chamber of commerce, and your business details including vat number... without these being correct you cannot be published or even advertise in Italy...

its an often had debate of mine with various UK sites that offer advertising or magazines that we could take out an advert in the UK without any of these criteria having to be met which allow you to legally trade here... but i can also see that it would have a detrimental effect on those places revenue and also would be a voluntary code putting those places at a disadvantage with their advertising income...

so anyway after that little tirade... here's the link to the site...and just because a company or an activity is registered here does not mean they are wonderful, just that you have at least the security that they are controlled by some higher body at the very least...
