Wreath laying ceremonies already take place in many of the War Cemetries throughout Italy on Remembrance Sunday, often attended by current serving NATO personel posted in Italy as well as members of the expat community or locals - I'm sure if you contact the above, sorry can't remember the name of the British chap in charge in Rome, they will be able to advise/assist.
