Default BBC Channels lost !

Hi
I wonder if anyone else has a similar problem - we watch the BBC channels using a dish on Astra 28.2 in Piemonte ( I'm absolute rubbish at anything technical, so please bear with me ) Last week, literally overnight, we lost all but one of the 6 or 7 channels. I'm not the only one in the village to have this problem (sound a bit like Little Britain here - sorry) but we can't understand what has happened. If anyone out there has any information, we would be extremely grateful to hear from you. They all seem to be the stations that had 10773 (H) quoted on screen ? The only remaining channel we receive is BBC1 through one of the regional options.
Cheers
Karen

ASTRA 2D

The size of the satellite antenna required to receive programmes from the ASTRA satellites is dependent on the transponder polarization and the mode as well as on the geographical location of the antenna.

An indication of the minimum diameter required for satellite antennas in direct-to-home installations is shown on the following footprints :

• ASTRA 1A
• ASTRA 1B
• ASTRA 1C
• ASTRA 1D
• ASTRA 1E
• ASTRA 1F
• ASTRA 1G
• ASTRA 1H
• ASTRA 2A
• ASTRA 2B
• ASTRA 2C
• ASTRA 2D
• ASTRA 3A

Default

have a look at http://www.ses-astra.com/satellites/...nts.php?sat=15
astra have tightened up the footprint so the only surefire way to receive the bbc channels is to invest in a new dish of at least 2.0m minimum
