For the last few days we have been unable to get access to bbc.co.uk website . Does anyone know what has happened to it ?

Angie Hi Very odd. Are you typing/copying and pasting into the address bar the full name ie http//www.bbc.co.uk??? What error message are you receiving if any???

There is a problem currently in Italy accessing the BBC websites if you are using Tiscali as your ISP. It may also involve other ISPs here. Whilst hard facts are not being bandied about currently, the likely cause of the blocking of the BBC is the dispute regarding file sharing that the BBC is lust launching. Tiscali has not yet blocked the direct IP address 212.58.253.67 - although you will get the same block if you try to navigate any further. The issue has been discussed elsewhere, if you are interested...
