Question Dentists in the Lunigiana

Is there a competent English-speaking dentist, real degree, clean office, doesn't stick head out window to smoke, etc, in the Lunigiana? We are near Gragnola, but will travel. Please send PM, reply to pamsteve@gragnola.com, or call 0585 99 111
Many thanks. Steve and Pam

We may come and try out your dentistry one day, as our current one, when he bothers to turn up, is virtually paralysed in one arm, so he basically does it one handed.

It doesn't breed confidence.

And that is at another surgery, because our local one, in Pisticci, got broken into and the machine used for fillings got stolen and the health service wont replace it.

And my fathers previous dentist in Matera, was so clueless, that he needed 5 teeth out, completely unnecessarily.

Are you easy to find in Martina Franca, because in September, we were on our way to see the Trulli, in Alberobello, when we went through Martina Franca. now the Trulli is a major tourist attraction in the area, yet we couldn't see one direction sign the whole way. in the end my father pulled over a local Municipale and read him the riot act.

You`d need directions as Martina Franca is quite a big town Best to ring Martin if you want to make an appointment and he`ll give you the directions. I hope you found the trulli in Alberobello in the end - we had that problem the first time we went. You can get quite lost driving round the modern part of the town!
