That sounds interesting, maybe I can find a download online, as I don't have English TV channels.

I've found that fascism is rife in Italy, with the symbol of a black circle with a cross through it being commonplace throughout all the areas I've seen.

I've seen worse too, much worse - e.g. Hitler wine being sold in a local town, also large graffiti Nazi murials on walls, etc. It shocked and disgusted me when I saw the various bottles of Hitler wine, with "glory pictures" of him on, and also seen many Mussolini wooden heads at market stalls/craft fairs, and at the Hitler wine shop, a black baseball bat for protection with a Mussolini's head on with the slogan "BOIA CHI MOLLA" written down it in white text.

I have photos of the somewhere but can't find them right now.

There's also a lot of fascism/Nazi worship at some Italian football matches (e.g. Lazio fans), which is not broadcast for obvious reasons - like banners, etc, but I've seen a program in Italy last year all about it: Nazi swastika, fascist symbols/slogans, Nazi slogans like "Gott mit uns" in Gothic style writing with swastikas around, etc.

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but if all of this shocked and disgusted you so much, why did you take photographs?

Well I took the photos to show an English friend, and he was shocked too

BTW: they were taken discretely with my mobile phone, not stood there blatantly with a proper camera

What am I ignorant about Scrapspal?

Ignorance is not knowing about something, I know about fascism and Nazi worship, so how does that make me ignorant?

Yes I got shocked by what I've seen, but having grown up and spent most of my life in England, what with the war being recent (in historical terms), why would I not be very surprised at the amount of symbols around and crap on sale?

lol, I can't remember, but I can check next time I'm in that area. It wasn't expensive, and not exactly connoisseur wine, but it's crazy to think people would buy that!
