Default He can afford it!

Hello Everyone,
Just thought you might be interested to know it seems old Berlusconi and his party can afford to give money away. Here in Le Marche if you go to his parties office and speak with his party member you get a free usb memory pen or wrist band with 128 mb of memory. They can't of been cheap to produce? So while the Italian economy is suffering he's out giving free gifts to a few million voters! Wouldn't that money of been better spent on other things like the Health service?
Is he going to be president for the third time? Lets hope not, but his wealth seems to appeal to Italian voters.

It's an old recipe used by the Romans, give the masses bread and circus... in this case little gifts as the lions are a bit scarce.

Last weekend the grocery store had name brand 2gig USB for 9 or 10 Euros. 128meg is so out of date they might be paying him to get rid of them.

As i mentioned in another thread, he is promising people in Basilicata, half price petrol/diesel if elected.

Wonder how many will fall for that...
