first of many, no doubt ... I vote for Nardini to "curate" this thread and track Berlu's idiotic words & deeds ongoing - that should generate a thread to rival Palio or Friday Joke in length!

Berlusconi has certainly infuriated Spanish women, the local papers are full of articles on this topic; however, what else could we expect! He is not going to change his old habits. Sorry for his wife.... does he still have one?

I was quite amused (or is that astounded!) by his comment:
Quote:
"Now he [Mr Zapatero] has asked for it, he will have problems leading them," said the Italian leader. "In Italy there is a prevalence of men in politics........" he added.
I guess that means that the post-war legacy of Italian governments was down to nothing more than too many women being elected......evidently if they'd only had more men in power, they would not have had 62 governments

Thanks for the "vote of confidence", pigro. I can't but help feel that I will need a team of editors to keep up with the man though! Nw, let's see... what was that he said to Putin??

It's a pity his own party could not kick him out. That's a symptom in itself

Briefly, at the news of Italy losing the Justice & Home Affairs portfolio last week, being awarded the Transport portfolio for it's replacement EU Commissioner, Syvio Berlusconi commented:

"It's much better for us to be concerned with infrastructure than homosexuality."

What a man!
