Default mast in santa vittoria

Help help the town hall of Santa Vittoria wants to put a 35metres high mast near the public swimming pool or in the country side...we are really worried...send me any information you have about the risks for our health..we are trying to stop them.

Ciaņ Paola, Santa Vittoria already put up a repeater mast for cell phones so what is this mast for? i would have to look at it too, they've already covered Monte ascensione in TV and telephone aerials of all kinds i wouldn't have thought that we needed any more.can you find out what company is behind this? mediaset?

we know that is Vodafone...they do not let us have more information about it..it is for mobile internet wire less thank you very mcuh for the support

There is no credible health risk at all.

You are exposed to a much higher level of electromagnetic radiation from the phone in your pocket or in the pocket of the person sitting next to you. Or leaking from your microwave oven.

Of course, the thing will probably look very ugly, which could be reason enough to protest about it.

I totally agree with Steve - there's plenty of 'hype' about masts, [and i wouldn't want one of the ugly b*ggers near my house - 'cos I'm a NIMBY], but there is no proven link between masts and 'ill effects'.
