Default How to easily keep track of new threads/posts

Keeping track of the Italy Magazine forums can be an tough task - especially if, like me, you have news hitting your desktop and e-mails filling your inbox non-stop.

There are already a couple of tips that make things easier.

1. You can subscribe to a thread. To do so just navigate to thread, click on "Thread Tools" and choose to subscribe. This way you get an e-mail everytime there is a new post.

2. Use the "New Posts" link on the Navigation Bar - this will give you all the latest posts since the last time you visited the forums.

3. Go really 21st century and subscribe to the Italy Magazine Forum feeds. We've grouped all of them here: http://www.italymag.co.uk/forums/cv_rss_feeds.php for you. You can use your favourite feed reader to subscribe to just the forums that you want and get notified whenever there is a new thread/post.

If you have any other tips on how you keep track of postings here just let us know

----------

NB: The purpose of these threads is to have a high information content so will always be heavily edited to just keep info relevant to the subject.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the reminder.

BTW about the re design of the whole site, I can't find any other more appropriate thread for this but I for one thank you wholeheartedly for (a) solving my problem of not being able to fit the forum into one window and (b) making it generally more pleasant to read. I'm sure lots of hard work went into making it happen so thanks! Not so sure about the icons that look like crustless pieces of toast but...at least they're distinctive
