Today Google, in its usually way, did something revolutionary for most of Europe's web users.

Clear road data information for all of Italy (and several other countries).

We jumped to the opportunity to enhance this service through the Italy Magazine website and the first offering is our Italy Magazine Forum Member Maps - just click here to add your spot in Italy.

Please, please avoid advertising. This is for members to share either their location in Italy or simply their favourite spot. It is not a place for holiday rentals and all the rest.

Great idea, Ronald! However.... as for a favourite spot... I've got several! ;);)

Guess I'll have to decide which I really really liked best! Ahhh tricky...

I must be a bit slow........I've found the spot on the map, but I can't work out the double clicking bit at all.

LOL... I had to click twice before it slowly registered... in my little grey cells! :D

Once you double click on the place, it appears in the centre of the map (nothing else happens!). Then just add your comment in the space provided on the left and click to submit - e voila'! ;)

Using the satellite version, I can actually see my house.
With great excitement I placed the bubble on the roof. Then I thought about it a little more.... Perhaps not such a good idea.
At the risk of stating the obvious I'd advise anyone who's pin-pointing a home, only to mark the general area. Paranoid? Me?

In any case.. Tuscanhills, you got there first and your bubble's on top of mine!! Anyone got a pin? :)

I'm happy to change colour bubble, but this seems to be tied to something else.....other versionso of Google Local allows one to change colours 'indiscriminately'!

You can go on top every other week ;)
