Andria, that is brilliant news about PIEGO DI LIBRI! Is it possible for you to send us a copy of this document you have from your local post office? They were adamant here in Vetralla that this service had been scrapped. We also have other Italian friends in Roma who told me that even before the service was stopped that it depended on the post office assistant if they let you use it or not!! As you will appreciate it would be really useful to have some sort of offical document to show our local post office staff. As you say this is the perfect option for MarcheXchange Book Swap Club Do hope you used it to send the first selection of titles to us? Will let you know how long they take.

No probs.........will send you a copy of what she gave me, I have your address still. I don't know how 'official' it is but it's from the charge cards she uses. We were told about it when we looked at postal methods so I was glad to find out it still exists...........although as you mentioned you may have to find a post office which offers it!

Just wanted to say thankyou for the research on postal services in your local post office. It will be interesting to see what our local office has to say next time we need to post some books within Italy.
Our first selection of books arrived safely and very quickly. We now look forward to receiving some requests for some of the titles we have addded to your library.
