Default Forum performance back to normal

Hello All,

apologies for the problems of the last few days. It came at a time where we were updating some other parts of the website (Property Website) and as a result it was a bit more complicated than usual identifying the problem.

Everything is now back to normal and thanks to everyone for sending in their comments and helping resolve the various issues.

Now lets focus on Easter vacations!

Thank you Ronald for that most welcome update and the news that all is restored!

I would like to just ask though (while you are around for a bit), that if there is to be more 'work on programme updating' in the future that a warning that this is due to take place be posted for the membership.

I did NOT say that a warning that the Forums may experience trouble should have been posted PRIOR to the work - that would be a stupid request - but that notice of imminent work be given. Now if that HAD taken place then we would all have decided (for ourselves) that the 'glitch' was down to the programme changes.

But back to this news....Once again thank you!

Hi Carole B, in principle you are absolutely right. The problem is that no work has been performed or was planned for the forums. We did lots of work on the property site but did not think that would affect the forums (and that is where we were wrong!)

Add to that the fact that the problems appeared on Friday late afternoon and you can see how things could take a bit longer to get fixed.

Thank you and well done for getting things fixed.

You may think we are all a load of moaning minnies but at least we show how much we value the forum and that we like to be kept informed. Lets face it you wouldn't be very happy if things went t*ts up and no one noticed or mentioned it.
