Forum Member Names and Weather Links

I was wondering if there was a way for the site to say something like "choose another name - this one is in use" as I noticed that a new member has the same name as I. The only difference is that I have a period after the initial of my last name.

Also, on the Le Marche and Veneto section, there is no link to the weather that all of the other regions have. Could this be added?

Hi Lisa,

unfortunately there is no way for you to directly choose another name - if you want another username let me know and I can change it for you.

Will get that link fixed as well!

Hi Ronald,

What I meant was that the new user would not be allowed to pick a name in the first place that was already in use. I realize that this isn't always possible as in my case there is the slight difference because the new user doesn't have a period after her second name.
