These are my latest reputation points. Please can someone explain why juliancoll's isn't in the same format as everyone else's.

Presumably, (because all of the green buttons say 'thanked post' in the fifth column), the blue button means that juliancoll used the 'scales', rather than the grazie button.

The 'reputation' thing is very complicated, and you got the 'error message' because (and thankyou very much!) you had probably clcked on my 'scales' before. As I recall, you need to add reputation (using the scales and not the grazie button) to ten other users before you can add reputation to someone who you have reputated(!) before.

the format is because when giving reputation you can include a small bit of text to explain or comment. JulianColl has for some reason given you reputation but opted not to add any explanatory text. Had he done so, his text would have shown up in the blank space where "Thanked Post" is normally shown.
