In the past I have been able to view a list of what postings I made that had been 'thanked' - so if my 'thank count' had gone up I could see which thread had been thanked, and by who. [Yes - I do lead a sad and introspective life!]

That facility seems to have disappeared - or is it just that this IT Dinosaur has finally lost the plot and is nearing extinction?

the solution i mean...so maybe i am as computer illiterate as you and there is an easier way...

here goes

click on your Alan h bit within a thread and go to user profile... or your control panel and then user profile in the forum options buttons at the screen top.....there are a set of tabs the last one being "friends" .....look carefuly and there is a fletched sort of arrow there... click on that and there is a drop down list with one option being "post thanks"... and then if you click on that it will give you a list of who you have thanked and who has been thanking you

hope the above makes some sense ...and if there is a shorter way am sure we will both be advised on the how to do it quickly option

John, I don't think this is what Alan is talking about. I seem to remember when someone thanked you you received notification pop ups which you clicked on and you were able to see who had thanked you and what post it referred to.

Nothing to do with options I think.

Wondered what that Post Thanks was about but too scared to try it!!! No, what I was referring to was my own list of thanked posts notifications sent to my Inbox which has been stopped by The Big Guns here!!!! lol. It was cool hearing someone appreciates you. lol
