Unhappy Please Help - Dog Missing - Amandola Area

To everyone living in the Amandola area,

Please can you help and keep an eye out on your travels whilst out and about in the Amandola area for a little dog . A friend of ours has lost her little 'Farley'. He was last seen in Villa Vena about 2pm on Wednesday and is only 5 months old and very small. He a a beautiful dog - very friendly, but we have searched all round and are now worried that he has wondered further than his usual area in the fog on Wednesday night.

Our friend is obviously very upset and we wish for a prompt and safe return. It is amazing how we beome attached to our pets and totally understand how she feels.

Thanks in advance for your help - we know with all our doggy problems in the past that everyone has been so supporting.

Please take a good look at the attached photo's just in case and if anyone has any ideas of what else we could do as we feel so helpless at the moment.

Many thanks
Sarah and Mark

Hi.
Sorry to hear about the lost dog. Where is Villa Vena, as don't recognise the name?

I'd suggest putting some posters up. You'll need a stamp on them from the technico's office in mandola to put them up in town.

Thanks Angie - why do we always get involved in these doggy problems - very sad !!!! x

Hello Geotherm - Villa Vena is on the road from Amandola to Comunanza but after the junction to Arty's house (about another km or so further on). Thanks for asking.

Good idea Penny - thanks for that.

I live on the other side of Italy to be of any help, but I really, really hope your friends find Farley.

We got involved with looking for an abandoned dog that we knew had been run over by a car and had run away. Becuase we were out looking for him and asking after him, ohter people got involved and eventually a young lad found him and took him to a local vet, who then brought him to us. My point is, keeping asking around, the more people who are 'aware' the better.

All the best

Didn't you know? You have been officially appointed as "guardian angels" for all neighbouring dogs. And you can't hand over your resignation.
