Default Lawn Mower Wanted

Does anyone know of a petrol lawn mower for sale? Not brand new but in running order. A friend has some very rough land to sort out and dosn't want to ruin a new one on it! Based around Amandola.
Thanks

Default Lawn mower

With the land being very rough, you would be better off with a strimmer. I speak from experience....in the course of work I have destroyed 2 mowers! The first time, the blade caught a hidden tree stump and destroyed the engine. Not worth the repair cost. The second time was cutting a garden that I'd cut many times, but the blade caught a rock and ruined the engine. You are better off spending 400euro on a decent strimmer. You can buy heavy duty blades as well. These do not cost much. Try Vallesi in Sarnano. It's on the way in from Amandola, they are good with advice and will barter. They occasionally have used bargains. There is also a used machines warehouse just north of Macerata, Sambuchetto. I was put onto this by an English bloke who really knows how to save money.
Good luck

Hello all

On the subject of lawnmowers, does anyone know where I can get my petrol Honda serviced and repaired? Would be great if there was somewhere locally (I'm in Force AP) but all I see is some Husqvarna signs at petrol stations...

Hello Strawberry. You can take your mower into any repair shop. Most mowers here have either Honda or Briggs and Stratton engines so all places are geared up for them. There is a garage in Comunanza, in the direction of Amandola. I always use the Husqvarna place in Sarnano but I live there. Sarnano not the Husq shop!
Wherever you go, ask for a guide price first. A service doesn't take much time so should be a few euros. Repairs are another matter.
