What have people paid or are they paying for a geologists survey and report involving 15m drills?

Just spoken with a local architect who advised €500- €600 for a geologists report prior to structural works or a bit more if the terrain is difficult, and €200- €300 for a report for installation of drainage and fossa settica/septic tank.

€3000 sounds very steep Penny!

Yup - it was steep, although it was for a new access road as well as for a septic tank.

You should have seen the geometra's bill if you think that was dear. Needless to say he is no longer with us!
